Revitalizing the AACT website to create a modern, accessible hub that enhances user experience, boosts membership, and reinforces brand consistency while showcasing the vibrant spirit of community theatre.
My role
My client, a company specializing in web development, brought me in to redesign their client's website. While they handled communications and provided low-fidelity wireframes, I interpreted the client’s existing branding and created a fresh, updated web design. The task was to build a modular system with versatile components—such as different card styles for features, events, and newsletter articles—that the client could easily use to populate their site. The goal was to deliver a clear, organized visual system with all components properly laid out for the developers to implement seamlessly.

Design Thinking
The new website will feature clean typography and vibrant visuals, complemented by stunning photography that captures the energy and artistry of community theatre. A thoughtful mix of text, dynamic photos, and videos will reflect its lively spirit, while playful design elements like subtle animations invite exploration. Clear menus and organized content ensure seamless navigation, with prominent calls to action driving engagement. Regular updates with fresh photography and videos will keep the site dynamic and ever-evolving.
