Brain 1st is a fun curriculum and science-based social-emotional learning tool designed to maximize academic achievement and improve mental health in students.
Brain 1st is a new concept aiming to demonstrate its significance and benefits for students, which can be challenging. Gaining support from districts and schools requires extensive science-based information. The brand must be educational, comprehensive, and engaging for students and teachers.
The objective is to position Brain 1st as an essential learning component and a brand that transforms educational perspectives. While the brand must be severe, it should also provide fun and inspiration for kids.
I joined the team early in the brand development process to create a scalable and approachable brand identity system that is easily adaptable for Brain 1st's marketing and social media communications. My work included designing the website and the platform's user interface. Through continuous exploration of typography and a series of colourful and uplifting illustrations, we consistently evolved the brand to increase engagement.
What I learned
We crafted a narrative illustrating how raising awareness among Brain 1st audiences makes them enthusiastic advocates. By identifying challenges at each process step, we developed branded solutions that address these issues. This systematic approach facilitates informed and targeted decision-making, ensuring that the brand's impact is effective and coherent from every perspective.
