Project Vision
The Institute, a nonprofit advocating privacy, security, and freedom in digital communications, seeks to enhance its online presence by providing tools, resources, and education to protect individual privacy and promote open access to the Internet. The website will serve as a central hub for their work.
My Role
My role was to rethink their website design and branding. While they provided wireframes and client insights, they needed a designer to refresh the user interface. My role was creating a modern, modular design in Figma, ensuring brand consistency. I developed a style guide with interactive components, such as buttons and card rollovers, giving developers the tools to build a seamless, scalable site that could grow with the client’s needs.

Design Thinking
The new website should be modern, easy to navigate, and consistent, with a clear mission on the homepage and a central hub for projects. It should convey a trustworthy, innovative, and accessible brand—tech-savvy, inclusive, and a champion of digital privacy. The homepage will highlight memberships, news, and projects, using visuals and up-to-date content to balance professionalism with a tech-forward feel.
